You do not have to be over six foot tall to be a wrestler, because even smaller men and women have become great wrestlers. Picking my favorites is difficult, but I do have my personal favorites. Here is my pick of the five best undersized wrestlers!

5. Zelina Vega

You might wonder why I put Zelina Vega on this list, since she mainly plays a managerial role for Andrade Cien Almas. However, do not underestimate Vega though, since this woman has a lengthy track record as a wrestler and quite some fantastic skills.

Zelina Vega a.k.a. Thea Megan Trinidad was born on December 27, 1990. Standing at only 5 ft 1, although some claim she does not even hit 5 ft, Zelina impressed fans as Rosita on Impact Wrestling. She is also a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion, right alongside Sarita.

4. Hornswoggle

Agree or disagree with me, but anyone who can do a Samoan drop on a wrestler weighing more than 200 pounds, while only being 4 ft 5 and weighing 62 kilograms is more than worthy to be on this list!

Hornswoggle, real name Dylan Mark Postl,  first rose to fame alongside Finlay. Even though he won the Cruiserweight Championship, accolades in the WWE somewhat lack despite his impressive strength and wrestling skills. Nonetheless, I was happy to see him at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble. Would have love to have seen him for a little longer though.

3. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is one of those people you just love, no matter if you like or dislike his character. Real name Bryan Lloyd Danielson, Daniel Bryan only measures 5 ft 10. While this may be considered as average in the non-wrestling world, it is far from the standard 6 ft plus big wrestling promotions look for.

Despite his smaller size, Daniel Bryan has held the WWE Championship three times, the Intercontinental Championship one time, and the WWE Tag Team Championship one time alongside Kane.

2. Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero (a.k.a Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes) only stood at 5 ft 8, but still become one of the most beloved wrestlers of all time. Unfortunately, Guerrero died of heart failure on November 13, 2005.

When it comes to his professional wrestling career, Guerrero has such an impressive track record it is impossible to name them all. He won multiple championships in the WWE, but also made a name for himself in other wrestling promotions such as New Japan and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

1. Rey Mysterio

Many of you probably predicted my number one from the start, since Rey Mysterio is my favorite wrestlers of all time and was the person who got me into wrestling in the first place.

Rey Mysterio a.k.a. Oscar Gutierrez was born on December 11, 1974, and is a genuine wrestling legend at only 5 ft 6. Even though he is currently listed as an independent wrestler, Mysterio is a three-time WWE World Champion! He also held the heavyweight championship, cruiserweight championship, tag team championships, and many others.
