Social Justice Warriors are so eager to create racial conflict that they’re targeting Legos now. More specifically, they’ve taken umbrage with the color used for Meghan Markle’s skin tone in a new Legoland exhibit celebrating her upcoming wedding to Prince Harry.

The Legoland Windsor Resort unveiled the exhibit earlier this week. Made from nearly 40,000 Lego bricks, the display features Windsor Castle and a royal wedding scene.

However, rather than focus on the craftsmanship of the exhibit or the happiness of the occasion it marks, SJWs could only focus on Lego Meghan’s skin tone. TMZ was the first to cry foul with a post boasting the alarming headline, “MEGHAN MARKLE: LEGOLAND LIGHTENS HER SKIN For Royal Wedding Exhibit”:

Meghan Markle has the exact same skin color as her fiance, Prince Harry — at least according to LEGOLAND’s special display ahead of the royal wedding.

LEGOLAND’s Windsor Resort unveiled a new exhibit this week in honor of Meghan and Harry’s big day, which is just over a week away. The problem is LEGO Meghan is pretty whitewashed. We all know the real Prince is very fair-skinned … so there’s no way his bride-to-be’s skin tone should match his.

As you can see in the photo below, it appears that Legoland used the same color bricks for Meghan’s figure that they did Prince Harry’s – a huge no-no according to TMZ, considering that Meghan is half African-American.

A representative for Legoland responded to the outrage, explaining that they simply didn’t have a large enough range of skin tones on hand to make Meghan darker than Harry (or, alternatively, Harry lighter than Meghan). “Our small LEGOLAND figures are not detailed representations of any of the characters and are all built using a limited range of [primary] brick tones,” the rep said.

However, that wasn’t a good enough answer for TMZ, who pointed out that they were able to make Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, and Spice Girls singer Mel B with “more realistic” skin tones. In the photo below, Ragland is the third figure from the left.

The outrage over this is just absurd. Yes, Meghan is half African-American, but she has a rather light complexion.

Legoland isn’t trying to “whitewash” Meghan, as TMZ believes. They simply used the resources on hand to make the most accurate depiction possible – that’s it. But leave it to SJWs to make an otherwise fun, happy, and progressive occasion all about race.
