The SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 34 will be a triple threat. The Bludgeon Brothers, the New Day, and the current tag team champions the Usos will battle it out on the grandest stage of them all, but who will take the Tag Team Championships home? Let us see what the experts at Ringside Intel have to say.

Sandra’s Predictions:

There are rumors that the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match will be a table, ladders, and chairs match. Even though it has not been confirmed officially, it would certainly make the match stand out from some of the other matches that will take place at WrestleMania. We can also count on the high-flying ability of the Usos, which always look great in gimmick matches.

Despite the Usos long reign, there is certainly no guarantee that the Usos will retain. The WWE seems to be interested in pushing the Bludgeon Brothers.

Of course, we cannot forget about the New Day, who had a successful run as tag team champions before. However, I think it is unlikely they will take the titles. The New Day does not need another title run at this point since they are always interesting to watch and do not need the title to elevate them. While I do not doubt that they have loads of title runs in the future, this match will not turn them into the tag team champions again.

With the New Day out of the picture, despite being incredibly entertaining, it leaves us with the Usos and the Bludgeon Brothers. In my opinion, it would make sense to let the Bludgeon Brothers win, especially if the WWE is serious about building them as a tag team. If they lose, then they will become another tag team forgotten on the SmackDown Live brand.

I believe the Bludgeon Brothers are set for their first SmackDown Tag Team Champions run. They will dominate for some months to come, while the Usos will be moved to the Raw brand and become a serious threat for the Raw tag team champions. While I am not sure the Usos won’t retain, I’m basing my decision on logic and the arrival of the Bludgeon Brothers as a dominant tag team.

Katie’s Predictions:

Of all the matches on the WrestleMania card, this one is the hardest for me to predict. There are reasons that any one of these teams could win, so bear with me as I try to make up my mind by writing out my thoughts.

First, the Bludgeon Brothers. They could win the titles, if only because they cut the tag title match unceremoniously short at Fastlane by destroying everyone involved. If they lose, it would dampen that momentum, wouldn’t it?

Well, maybe not, because this match is rumored to be a TLC match. No one ever looks weak coming out of a TLC match, even if they lose. Also, I can’t help but think that the TLC match format gives the Usos an advantage.

But speaking of the Usos, haven’t they been champions long enough? We’ve reached the point where Jimmy and Jey have won so much that they’re due for a loss. Yes, I think the Usos are going to lose.

But will the New Day be the ones to beat them? They hosted WrestleMania last year and didn’t have a match. A tag team championship win would be a sweet comeuppance for them. Furthermore, Xavier Woods deserves justice after nearly being murdered by the Bludgeon Brothers at Fastlane. What better place to get justice than on the grandest stage of them all?

Final decision: the New Day will win and become five-time (five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time) tag team champions and these three teams will continue to feud after WrestleMania.

Hunter’s Predictions:

This will either be outrageously good or just average. It can’t be bad. These three teams always go hard in matches. The Usos and New Day have had the best feud in the last year in WWE. Their Hell in A Cell banger was one of the best violent matches I’ve seen from mainstream wrestling in years.  I think the Bludgeon Bros will win. Harper and Rowan have been criminally underrated and underutilized their entire WWE run. Now is their time to shine!
