Fans are praying for comedic actor Will Ferrell after he was rushed to the hospital following a serious car crash last night.

Daily Mail reported that Ferrell was hospitalized on Thursday night after the SUV he was a passenger in flipped over when it collided with another vehicle. The crash occurred on the northbound side of Freeway 5 in Mission Viejo, California at 10:55 p.m.

Ferrell, 50, was hospitalized along with two men and one woman, who is reportedly seriously injured and was seen “bleeding profusely.” Though Ferrell remains in the hospital, he is said to have no serious injuries and is recovering well.

Police investigating the crash say that drugs and alcohol played no role in it. Ferrell was on his way home from a “Funny or Die” event at a high school, where he portrayed his Anchorman character Ron Burgundy while he chatted with Billy Eichner. The aim of the event was to encourage young people to vote in California’s upcoming 49th district election.
