Don’t worry, love still exists in WWE! NXT stars Bianca Belair and Montez Ford are getting married!The happy couple first announced their engagement last June, and finally revealed their wedding date over the weekend. The nuptials will take place in just over two months, on June 23.
In Ford’s defense, Roman Numerals are tricky when you get up to those large numbers.
Unless you watch NXT, you’re probably not too familiar with Belair and Ford, so here’s a quick introduction.
Ford is a U.S. Marine veteran who was signed to WWE in April 2015 after participating in a tryout session. He’s one half of The Street Profits, along with tag team partner Angelo Dawkins, who are quickly becoming one of NXT’s most popular teams.
Bianca Belair, who calls herself the “EST of NXT,” is a former All-SEC and All-American track and field athlete and CrossFit competitor and powerlifter. She was personally offered a tryout by Mark Henry after she entered her information into the WWE prospects database “on a whim.” She was signed to WWE in April 2016 after two tryouts and went on to become a standout competitor in the Mae Young Classic. She also recently made her WrestleMania debut during the Women’s Battle Royal match.
Belair and Ford announced their wedding date the same day news broke that Nikki Bella and John Cena are no more. Hopefully, it’s just an unfortunate coincidence?
