After Daniel Bryan’s surprise return to in-ring action, it seemed to be the plan that he and Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon would get their revenge against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a tag-team match at Wrestlemania. But according to WWE.com , Shane McMahon was on the verge of being out of Wrestlemania due to illness and injury.
But on the March 27th episode of Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan declared that he and Shane McMahon, diverticulitis and all, will battle Owens and Zayn!
THE CHALLENGE: @ShaneMcMahon & @WWEDanielBryan vs. @SamiZayn & #KevinOwens at #WrestleMania!
THE STIPULATION: If Shane & Daniel win, Sami and Kevin remain FIRED. If Kevin & Sami win, they return to #SDLive! pic.twitter.com/NZFBeyAPEZ

WOW, IT IS HAPPENING!
#SDLive is the land of opportunity, so #KevinOwens & @SamiZayn have one more. They'll be reinstated IF they can beat the team of @shanemcmahon and @WWEDanielBryan at @WrestleMania! pic.twitter.com/lAml2hqLSA

Commentary still held out a chance that Shane McMahon might not be ready. So there’s a chance this will be another handicap match, or perhaps someone else will join?
Zayn instantly accepted.
Daniel Bryan wants payback??
WE GLADLY ACCEPT.
He just made the biggest mistake of his life.
If he thought what we did to him last week was bad, just wait & see what we will do to him after publicly firing us.#Wrestlemania will be the worst night of Shane & Daniel’s lives.
