Two months ago, country music superstar Carrie Underwood was rushed to the hospital after falling outside her Nashville home.

Underwood’s injury was serious enough that the singer needed more than 40 facial stitches and has kept a fairly low public profile in the weeks following the incident.

Well, it appears as though Underwood is ready to step back into the public light and the country star looks even better than ever. Actor Adrienne Gang, who starred on Bravo’s “Below Deck,” recently shared a picture with Underwood after the two went to a workout class together. Gang apparently had no idea about Underwood’s recent injury and commented that the musician looked beautiful.

In addition to receiving stitches, Underwood broke her wrist, which also required surgery. In a note obtained by People, Underwood details everything she has gone through since her scary injury:

There is also another part of the story that I haven’t been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up. I honestly don’t know how things are going to end up but I do know this: I am grateful. I am grateful that it wasn’t much, much worse. And I am grateful for the people in my life that have been there every step of the way.

Underwood also told her fans that she would spare them the “gruesome details” of her injury, but insisted that she is on the mend, noting that she is “still healing and now quite looking the same.”

Carrie Underwood also broke some big news, announcing that she is returning to the studio next week to work on her latest album. She also noted that “When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different. I’m hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but again, I just don’t know how it’s all going to end up.”

Military veteran Wayne Dupree offered his thoughts and prayers for Carrie Underwood, and you can watch that video below:
