Beth Chapman Bares Cancer Scars To Fans For The First Time

Beth Chapman is now cancer free after being diagnosed with throat cancer last year. The wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter is now looking to adapt to changes in her appearance after treatments and surgery.

The beloved female bounty hunter shared her scars with fans on Instagram. She’s happy to have her health but she’s adjusting to seeing battle scars each time she looks in the mirror. She’d like to forget what she went through, but Beth believes it’s an important reminder of what is truly important.

She wrote:

“Embracing the unembraceable #newbeginnings #newyear,” the 50-year-old wrote in the caption of a photo that showed off her scars. “Prior to my surgery, I had no lines, no wrinkles, a perfect neck if you will. It has been very hard to look at this in the mirror, it serves as a constant reminder of something I’d love to forget. However some life lessons you should never forget, only learn from them and learn to embrace them so today I reveal my worst battle scar and know that things will get better in #2018 #secondchances #DogandBeth #battlescars.”

Fans were very supportive of Beth. Many said that Beth’s scars highlighted how she makes being tough beautiful and that she makes scars look good.

MonicaLRobinson wrote “You are SO beautiful Beth! If anyone can make a scar look good it is you. Always beautiful inside and out. Love you!”

Prior to posting this picture, Beth appeared to be guarding her neck from being shown. She did this by wearing chokers to cover it up, wear shirts with higher necklines, or positioning her head and hair to hide the scars as you can see in the pictures below.

It can be an adjustment to living life after cancer. It looks like Beth Chapman is coming to terms with the fact that her scars further prove her warrior status.
