7-11 Robbery

It’s no secret that criminals are stupid individuals. More often than not, criminals do something extremely dumb and end up being captured relatively quickly by the police.

Well, two would-be robbers in Hamilton, New Jersey attempted to rob a 7-11 convenience store but their attempted crime goes horribly wrong from the moment they enter the store.

The two men entered the store and pointed a gun at the store clerk, but were met by one security guard who was thankfully armed.

In the video below, “One robber pulled a gun on the store clerk, forcing him to back up against the wall while his buddy begins clearing out the cash register.”

The robber was only able to grab a few dollars before the security guard busted through the door and opened fire on his partner.

Check out the video of the security guard taking down both criminals below:

If you listen closely, you can hear the robbers scream that their guns are fake but the security guard has the perfect response: “Mine’s real.”

Given how strict New Jersey’s gun laws are, I am surprised that the 7-11 security guard was allowed to be armed in the first place. Had he not had a gun, these robbers likely would have gotten away with a large sum of money.

Thankfully, these two criminals did not escape and will have a long time to think about their actions while sitting in a New Jersey jail. Odds are, being shot will dissuade these two men from trying to rob a store ever again.

No one wants to shoot another person, but this security guard’s job was to protect the employees and patrons at all costs. He should be commended for his quick-thinking and calm demeanor.

Military veteran Wayne Dupree has his own take on this attempted robbery. You can check out his comments in the video below:
