Ten Commandments Statue

A Texas business owner is planning on displaying a large Ten Commandments statue outside a local mall with the hope of making it a family-friendly environment.

Even if you’re not Christian, following the Ten Commandments will help strengthen your life and society as a whole.

I was raised in church so I believe a statue of the Ten Commandments will be a positive addition to this community.

This symbol reminds us of who we are and helps to guide our moral compasses. The placement of these commandments is not meant to make other religions feel inferior. Our country was built on Judeo-Christian values, and we must never turn away from that.

This statue is on private property so I believe that it will remain standing as long as the owner wants to keep it up.

From Fox News Insider:

An 8-foot Ten Commandments statue will go up at a Texas mall, a move the new owner says is meant to “touch [the viewer’s] heart and give them new hope that day.”

“We just feel like if we expose God’s word out to everyone that it might have an impact on people and be a positive thing for anyone,” owner John Bushman told “Fox & Friends” on Saturday.

Bushman said his goal is to make Music City Mall in Lewisville, Texas a family-friendly environment and he expects the Ten Commandments to have a positive effect in that direction.

His other businesses, including hotels, shopping centers, and a restaurant, also display the commandments.

This is a great idea. I believe The Ten Commandments should also be placed prominently in front of every public building. The world would be a much safer and better place if people would live by the Ten Commandments.

I hope that this statue can serve as an inspiration to everyone in America and encourage each of us to change our lives for the better!
