For two people who apparently hate WWE, Cody and Brandi Rhodes sure are trying their hardest to emulate its business practices.
E! has confirmed that Brandi Rhodes is a cast member of the Atlanta spin-off of the reality show “WAGs,” which follows the lives of the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes. Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly is a cast member of the original show, although she confirmed at the beginning of October that she’s split from her husband, former NHL player Sheldon Souray.

Brandi’s description in the official cast announcement reads:
“Brandi is the wife of wrestling star Cody Rhodesand the daughter-in-law of the late Dusty Rhodes. She’s also a former wrestling announcer and pro wrestler herself, but struggles to find a balance between her personal and professional life”
Production sources revealed last month that Brandi’s wrestling career will be a focal point of her story arc – and Cody has been involved in filming, as well.
Again: for two people who claim to hate WWE so much, they sure are trying to imitate them.
I mean, come on. Not only is “WAGs” a reality show about women involved in the world of sports, but it’s also on the very same network as “Total Divas.” I don’t know about you all, but to me, the Rhodes’ involvement in this show smacks of pettiness, with just a hint of hypocrisy. At the very least, the two clearly still have a massive chip on their shoulders when it comes to their former employer.
