Big Show Buys Coats For Kids In Need!

I love writing stories like this, and the WWE certainly ensures we have plenty of them. On November 15, 2017, everyone’s favorite giant – The Big Show – did something new for charity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Here’s the story!

Buying Coats for Kids

Charitable organization Pat’s Coats for Kids, was stationed in Baton Rouge to fill their pod with countless coats for kids. The coats are distributed to children in need.

Since its foundation, the charitable organisation has distributed approximately 83,000 coats to children who need them. The organisation also receives more than a million dollars in donations.

Now, the Big Show is adding himself to the fray, helping by promoting the charity as well as buying some coats for kids in Walmart. It is always nice to see someone giving back to the community. Hat off to you Big Show!

Experiencing Poverty

During an interview with Pat Shingleton, Big Show admitted he experienced poverty himself growing up. He mentioned he wore different color shoes at one point, simply because they were the only ones that did not have holes in them. Having experienced poverty himself, Big Show seems quite committed to this charity.

Big Show and Other Charities

Everyone knows that this is not the first charity event the Big Show is involved in. During his extensive career as a wrestler in the WWE, the Big Show has promoted and endorsed many charitable organisations; this includes, but is not limited to, the United Services Organization and the Special Olympics.

Why Are WWE Superstars Supporting Charity Important?

People who have a celebrity status could certainly help pull attention to charities. Some charities have problems getting the funds they need, whether it is to execute research or to help people in immediate need. Big Show, but also other superstars in the WWE, such as the Miz, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, and Titus O’Neil, all contribute to making this world a better place. Keep up the good work guys!

Have you heard of Pat’s Coats for Kids? If so, what do you think about the charity? Have you experienced this charity making a difference in your local community? Let us know your opinion in the comment section below.
