Audrey Roloff Mommy-Shamed Again For Picture She Posted With Ember

Audrey Roloff has once again been mommy-shamed on social media. The Little People, Big World star shared a touching picture of herself with her daughter Ember on Instagram and Facebook. Immediately, the Mommy Patrol of so-called fans attacked her.

In the picture, Audrey is holding Ember in her hands and kissing her baby on the lips. “I’m torn between wanting her to fit in my palms forever, and being so excited to watch her personality unfold. When I catch a gummy grin or listen to her little owl sounds I can’t help but unravel with joy. These are moments without the pressure of time, fully embraced and deeply cherished. Baby girl, you are a blessing, heritage, and reward,” the post began.

It is a beautiful picture of a tender moment between a new mother and her daughter. But, it offered an opportunity for judgmental people to attack – and they did. Some Debbie Downers took immediate issue with the fact that Ember wasn’t wearing a hat while Audrey was. Rather than comment on the beauty of the picture, they whipped out their superiority complex.

Instagram user shan_0108 wrote, “I hope she wasn’t hatless for long. You have hair and a hat covering your head. She has nothing. You lose the most heat through your head so she can be freezing way before you ever even get cold. Please cover her.”

Another alleged fan commented “Please put a hat on that baby’s head! @audreyroloff She doesn’t have hair to keep her head warm! #bbbrrrrrr.”

There were numerous comments about Ember not wearing a hat or having her legs exposed. Nobody seemed to take into account that this was just a snapshot of a moment in time and she may have been wearing a hat before the photo was taken. They just launched into an assault on this new mother.

These folks appear to find fault with everything she does. It is rather clear that Audrey and Jeremy take excellent care of Ember. They are not going to do anything to harm her. Ember certainly doesn’t appear uncomfortable in this picture.

Audrey had a simple explanation for these nosy and judgmental people who constantly critique her parenting. “Calm down people,” Audrey said. “She has tights on and this was right before I loaded her in the car.”

The new mom has said in the past that she is considering limiting her social media posts because of comments like these. Some people feel the need to tear others down. Those people should log off the internet and work on improving their own lives.

Share this to support Audrey and this beautiful growing family!
