The Big Dance
In the film’s final scene, Johnny brings Baby to the last dance of the resort season, telling Baby that she has made him a better man. The two proceed to do a provocative version of their mambo duet, eventually doing the difficult lift move they had practiced so many times before. The two images above show what the actual ballroom looked like in Grossinger’s compared to the fictional one used in the movie.
