Kid Rock Colin Kaepernick

Last month, music legend Kid Rock used one of his performances to call out failed NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his anti-American antics.

Rock’s comments came right before the start of the NFL season. When the rocker told the crowd “f*** Colin Kaepernick” the audience to burst out in applause.

Well, ever since Rock took on Kaepernick several liberal civil rights groups have been demanding that Rock’s future concerts be canceled.

Rock is scheduled to perform at the opening of the Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit, but a civil rights organization is planning to protest the concert and is demanding that all events Kid Rock be canceled in the future.

Peter Hammer, the director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, called Rock’s criticism of Kaepernick “incredibly tone deaf” because “Everything is different post-Charlottesville. These are moments where you have to act as a matter of character and state what your values are. Everything now is becoming symbolic. That means we have to choose our symbols carefully.”

Kid Rock’s publicist has yet to respond to the threats, but I would bet money that the rocker will not back down from pressure by liberal groups. Watch as military veteran Wayne Dupree gives his take on the situation below!
