Police officers have to be prepared for anything. With today’s toxic political environment and people taking aim directly at cops, they never know what they will face.
Indiana University Police Academy understands this, so their cadets get top-notch training. IU gets rather creative with its police training. In the video below, you see a rubber chicken being used to test the cadets’ focus. As you can tell, it’s pretty hard for them not to laugh! And if they laugh, they have to do push-ups!
I’m sure that I would bust out laughing if someone shoved a rubber chicken in my face too. But, today’s police officers have to expect that anything might be thrown their way, even a squeaking rubber chicken.
