Johnny Cash’s Final Performance of “Folsom Prison Blues” Will Give You Chills

It’s been nearly 14 years since we lost country legend Johnny Cash, and while the music of the Man in Black is sure to endure for generations to come, nothing can compare to listening to him live.

Cash gave his final performance at the Carter Ranch in July 2003, just two months before his death. His last rendition of one of his biggest hits, “Folsom Prison Blues,” is sure to give you chills.

Watch below:

Wow. The fact that Cash could still sing and play at age 71 as well as he did in his younger years is just more testament to his unmatched talent and staying power. Cash was truly rocking until the end, and his contributions to rock and country music are more than anyone can say.

Share this if you love and miss Johnny Cash!
