Alaskan Bush People‘s Ami Brown celebrated her 54th birthday on Monday. Sadly, she was confined to a Los Angeles hospital bed because of her stage 4 lung cancer.
Ami is frail and apparently has taken a turn for the worse. She’s down to just 84 pounds and is stuck in a hospital despite the family’s plan to move to Colorado. Inquisitr is reporting Billy and the family “sat vigil” next to Ami’s bed for what they fear may be her last birthday.
Her seven children didn’t post birthday wishes on social media for Ami. Perhaps this is because of their concern that it might be the final one for their mother. Rain did post a rather emotional Instagram post when she happened to look up at the sky and saw a heart on Monday.
It appears Ami’s birthday was a rather melancholy day as the family is coming to terms with the matriarch’s very serious health problems. Alaskan Bush Family Facebook groups have started prayer chains for the Brown family.
That is something Ami certainly appreciates as she is putting her trust in God. “Worrying about it only makes it worse. There is hope and that hope is having faith in God,” She recently said. “You can’t give up. I tell people be happy. Just be happy. It’s a choice. Things can be hard and you just want to curl up but you have to shine.”
Ami is the heart of this family. Her birthday certainly was an emotional roller coaster for all of them. I will certainly lift them all up in prayer.
Share this with your friends and family so more prayers can be offered!
