Season 9 of NCIS: Los Angeles is going to have a lot of changes. The biggest one involves the engagement of Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah). Fans have been waiting a long time for these two to tie the knot but apparently there are some obstacles they have to overcome before heading down the aisle.
The season finale showed Kensi spontaneously proposing to Deeks at a crime scene using the pin from a flash bang grenade. Deeks had previously proposed three times without ever getting a yes from her. This time, she did the asking and Deeks said yes.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting on a spoiler about their relationship. Apparently, Deeks is hesitant to tell his mother he is engaged. This is giving the perception that the wedding won’t occur at the beginning of the season. It will be interesting to learn when he finally coughs up the news.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 finale also had Sam (LL Cool J) taking a break to care for his children after the death of his wife Michelle. It is expected that Sam will return as a changed man.
