Naked and Afraid Season 8 is putting the two survivalists in a very challenging position. They will be on a raft in the middle of the ocean for three weeks.
One man and one woman will be left in shark and jellyfish infested waters to fend for themselves. A preview of the season can be seen in the video below. It looks very intense.

Discovery Channel is also launching a new show called Darkness. Three contestants will be in an underground mine without the ability to see. They need to find each other and make their way through the mine in complete darkness. NASA and Special Forces’ sensory-deprivation training inspired this show.
Six days is apparently the threshold for sensory deprivation before people start losing it. If the objectives aren’t met in six days, the participants will be pulled out of the mine. The preview for that is below.

I would take a pass on being on both these shows as I’m a prude and I would end up falling down the mine. But, they sure sound interesting to watch!
