military veteran service dog

Yaunce Long is one of the millions of Americans who heroically defended our country as a member of the United States Military. Long is an ex-Marine who earned a Purple Heart after being wounded in combat.

Despite being an American hero, he is not receiving the respect he deserves back home by his employer. Long installs phone lines for Cincinnati Bell and claims that his supervisor told him if he brought his trained service dog to work, he would be fired.

Long’s dog, C4, helps him control anxiety caused by PTSD, which he was diagnosed with after a 10-year stint in Afghanistan and Iraq. The military hero said that each day for one week, he was sent home without pay whenever he came to work with his dog.

During an interview with “Fox & Friends,” Long said he has sought an accommodation through the Americans with Disabilities Act, but has yet to hear back, and his employer still will not allow him to bring his dog.
