Here’s Why ‘Counting On’ Fans Are Worried About Jill Duggar

Jill and Jessa: Counting On fans have been concerned about Jill Duggar Dillard since the birth of her second child, Samuel. Like with the birth of her first son, Jill required a C-Section. The young mother was posting a number of pictures following the birth of her first son, Israel, but has been relatively quiet recently. This has led to some serious concern.

After Israel’s birth in 2015, Jill looked tired, but healthy.

There is only one picture of Jill and Samuel on Instagram or on their family website. Many fans are concerned that Jill looks pale in it. The family has been very open with sharing pictures of their life and since there has been a lull, some are worried that she isn’t feeling well.

Jill and her husband Derrick were absent from this week’s Counting On episode. Jill issued a pre-recorded statement from a week ago that Jill and Samuel were doing well, but there isn’t a more recent update.

This is probably only alarming because the Dillards have shared so freely in the past. One Tumblr user said, “Honestly for me the bottom line in this debate about if Jill is okay or not is that if she was perfectly fine (or even just sort of okay) there would be at least one picture of her smiling to camera holding Sammy (and probably Israel).”

Whether Jill is not feeling well or is just seeking privacy while her growing family adapts to the newest addition, the family certainly could use our prayers.
