Earlier this week, Chloe Goins, one of the many women who has accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting her, was arrested after police suspected her of trying to smuggle heroin into a San Diego jail.
According to reports, Goins was approached by officers for unknown reasons before police inspected the vehicle and discovered heroin on her.
Cosby’s accuser was jailed on a $25,000 bond and reports suggest she will face felony charges including “possessing a controlled substance in prison and bringing alcohol or drugs in prison when she is arraigned.”
Goins is one of many women involved in lawsuits against Mr. Cosby, and at this point, it is unknown whether her arrest will impact the lawsuit against the man who is accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women.
Goins claims that Cosby sexually assaulted her in 2008 at the Playboy Mansion when she was just 18 years old. The former model said that Cosby handed her a drink that was drugged, causing her to pass out. Goins also claims that she woke up “naked with Cosby biting her toes.”
Military veteran Wayne Dupree believes that while Goins’ personal actions do not change the serious allegations leveled against Mr. Cosby, it may hurt her standing in the lawsuit filed against the famed comedian.
