Deadliest Catch is perhaps one of the most popular shows on the Discovery channel. Each week, the different crews featured on the show risk their lives doing what they love to do.
While most episodes feature different crews battling the elements at sea to catch different species of fish and other sea creatures, on one episode things got a little weird.
The Wizard’s Freddy Maugatei was a little overzealous when his ship spotted a walrus carcass floating in the ocean.
Rather than simply help his crewmates pull the walrus into the ship, he took matters into his own hands.

This might be the craziest thing I have ever seen! The water in the Bering Sea is extremely cold, and this crewman jumped in with no shirt on! What was he thinking!
Clearly he saw that the crew was having trouble retrieving the carcass and decided to help, but his idea shocked the entire crew, who had to spring into action and rescue him!
