June 19th Raw Preview: Roman’s SummerSlam Announcement

After a controversial Money in the Bank that people are still talking about, the other WWE brand continues on the road to Great Balls of Fire. Raw is 20 days out from #WWEBalls and the match between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar. But tonight Roman Reigns takes center stage, where he plans to make an important announcement.

Here’s what we’re looking forward to tonight:

The Big Dawg Barks

In a naked ploy for a rating boost, Roman Reigns will make a special announcement tonight regarding his plans for SummerSlam. On the surface, it is weird that their top star isn’t going to be doing anything at GBOF. But I’m sure the announcement will tie into a match at that event as well. Speculation is rampant on what Reigns will announce. Some people think he will challenge Goldberg. Others say he’ll want the winner of Samoa Joe- Lesnar. Maybe he’s challenging Cena or an open challenge. As cheap as a tactic like this is, people are talking, so I guess it works.

The Samoan Submission Machine stood toe-to-toe with Lesnar last week and showed no fear. I love this. They’re letting Joe be the shoot-fighter bad-ass he shines as. WWE loves to have a “Big Fight Feel” and Lesnar-Joe delivers on that. Two heavyweights who get in the ring and make you forget wrestling is fake pre-determined a work. Look for Joe to cut more bone-shivering promos and state deep into your soul, tonight.

Re-Re Match for the Tag Titles?

After last week’s 2 out of 3 falls match ended in a draw, will the Hardys get another chance to win back the titles from “The Bar”?

Matt Hardy has been UPPING the teasing on his “Broken” character. We all know it is coming, it is just a matter of when.
