The Twitter mob has found a new target: Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp.
Disney has been flooded with thousands of tweets demanding that they #FireDepp due to a “joke” he recently made at the Glastonbury music festival about assassinating President Donald Trump.
Depp has since apologized for the joke, saying that his intention was “to amuse, never to harm anybody.”
But despite the apology, people still want him fired — and not just for threatening the president:
Wife beater, Financial collapse. Emotional collapse. Drugs? And now threatening a president…He sounds unstable…@Disney should #FireDepp

Does @Disney really support wife beating, drunken, Johnny Depp even after he attacked Trump and mentioned assassination? #FireDepp

Dear @Disney and @wbpictures
Johnny Depp beats his spouse and discussed assassinating our @POTUS. Do you support this behavior? #FireDepp— Brenden Dilley (@Hublife) June 23, 2017
Disney is supposed to stand for family values, so how can they possibly stand behind the things Depp has said and done?
Share this if you think Disney should #FireDepp!
