Tonight’s Smackdown Live PPV, Backlash, promises to be one of the more unique non-major/non-gimmick PPVs in recent memory. Tyler Breeze just proved it!

Unique match-ups and implications abound tonight. But that being said, I don’t think any of us thought this would be happening tonight.

Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) are the number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles currently held by the Usos.

Breezango were a surprise choice to get a tag title shot. Both wrestlers have floundered on the low and mid card for the last few years. Tyler Breeze and Fandango have been tagging together for the last few months but weren’t considered a serious contender until they won the “Beat the Clock” challenge earlier this month. The team has taken their opportunity and gotten into a full sprint. Breezango has won crowds over with their quirky personalities and great in-ring ability. Just shows that at any moment, a mid-carder can jump to the front of the line and prove they belong to be there. Just look at Jinder Mahal!

In the build-up to the match, the team known also as the “Fashion Police” have made Law & Order parody vignettes about the fashion crimes of the WWE roster. These were called “Fashion Files” and the WWE Universe fell in love with the hilarious videos.

The last episode before Backlash featured Tyler Breeze going a bit too deep undercover.

Breeze decided to take the character a bit too far though. He couldn’t get out of character.

Breeze, doing his best Donnie Brasco impression, came out to the match in his janitor outfit:

Breeze’s Janitor was quite effective:

THEN Breeze decided to dress as a grandmother.

It was all for not, as the Usos got a cheap win over Breezango.

But wrestling fans still got a kick out of it the match.
