Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman Having Fun In Rome!

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman are taking in the sites in Rome. They’re having fun and are accompanied by other stars including Heath Slater, Matt Hardy, Curtis Axel and Titus O’Neil.

Rome Backlash

While the WWE wrestlers are just having fun and enjoy spending some time together, they are getting some backlash (see what I did there?) from fans. Fans are saying that they are ruining the rivalry by posting these pics.

Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with this and I actually enjoyed the pictures. I don’t get why wrestlers are getting so much criticism lately. It seems no matter what they do, they are getting flack for it. I think it’s endearing to see a more personal and softer side! If you do not like this stuff as a fan, why follow everything they do on social media?

Titus O’Neil Under Fire

The person who is getting the most negative attention for the posted photographs is Titus O’Neil. He promptly removed the pictures shortly after posting them. Titus has been getting in trouble quite a bit over the years, but it always seems to be minor. I hope this picture incident does not put him on the punishment seat again, which he’s been on for months if you ask me.

Even if Titus O’Neil didn’t post these photographs, everyone has a camera nowadays. In a city filled with tourists and possibly wrestling fans, there is no way those pictures wouldn’t go on the internet. Even a fan took a picture of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman together and posted it on his Twitter account.

There are other stars who successfully blur the lines between reality and fiction. Everyone knows Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are the best of friends, yet they are bitter rivals on-screen.

Considering many other superstars have played out rivalries while being close in real life, I believe this is another case of Roman hate. It seems like many people can’t wait to break down Roman Reigns and say that the man can’t do anything right.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Roman Reigns fan at all. I believe he could be much better where wrestling moves are concerned and that he does need to diversify a little. However, he works hard and deserves a chance to become great. So, why can’t he get a break from the WWE Universe?

At the end of the day, it comes down to this for me… Would you rather support a paper champion such as Brock Lesnar, who doesn’t even defend his title within 30 days and gets away with everything? Or, would you rather support Roman Reigns, who might not be as interesting to watch at times, but works extremely hard for what he has now. He’s on the road with WWE, despite losing his brother to congenital heart failure recently.
