Rumors surrounding the current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, have been everywhere this week; this is not surprising when you consider many fans are upset with this paper champion. Now, it seems WWE wants to take it a step further and let him keep the title until Wrestlemania 34.
It may be hard to grasp, but the paper champion has not been on WWE television since Wrestlemania 33! Reality check for Lesnar, you’re not that great of a wrestler, you’re just lucky you have the perfect build to be seen as the “Beast Incarnate”.
Let’s look at his matches objectively. Lesnar actually has less variety than Roman Reigns (no hate on Roman intended, but he does have limited moves). He basically comes out, does a couple of suplexes and an F5. Done!
With every passing week, it seems like the prediction I made some time ago is going to become true. Many of our sources have stated that Lesnar is not going to appear until the WWE Great Balls of Fire Pay-Per-View. With each passing week, it seems that this prediction is accurate. Still, I hope I’m wrong and someone takes the title before then.
The WWE are considering many superstars to fight Lesnar for the title, even though the rumor of Lesnar not losing his title until next Wrestlemania seems to ring true.
Our sources have stated that Lesnar could be facing the likes of Braun Strowman, Fin Balor, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for the title. Still, if the WWE plans for Lesnar to keep the title until Wrestlemania 34, all these great wrestlers are set up to lose against this paper champion.
Many of our sources stated that WWE officials want Lesnar to keep the title until Wrestlemania 34. Even though I’m not surprised about this, I am certainly furious. If this is the actual plan of the WWE, the Universal Title has no meaning whatsoever. Still, if fans show their displeasure with this decision, the WWE might change their minds.
I’m going, to be honest with you all, I couldn’t care less about Brock Lesnar. Him holding the title means absolutely nothing to me. Rules don’t apply to him, while other wrestlers have to deal with the consequences. My reaction? Delete, delete, delete!
You might have noticed from my previous articles that I’m really not a fan, but there are many reasons for that. As a passionate wrestling fan, here are my reasons to want this “champion” gone:
