Eric Church paid tribute to Gregg Allman in a perfect way at his Nashville concert this weekend. Allman, who died of liver cancer on Saturday, had performed several times with Church.
Without saying a word about Allman’s death, Church exploded into a flawless cover of “Midnight Rider,” much to the delight of his audience.
As you can see in the video below, it was the perfect way to honor Allman who gave us so many terrific songs over the years. The crowd joined in and sang along with him.
That was great! I loved how the crowd sang along with it. Rather than being sad and emotional, it was the perfect way to celebrate Gregg Allman!
