Mr. T Takes A Bold Move On DWTS By Proclaiming His Faith After Dancing To Amazing Grace

You have to really respect anyone, especially a Hollywood star, who publicly embraces their religion without fear of consequences. That’s exactly what Mr. T did on Dancing With The Stars when he chose to dance to “Amazing Grace”. Even better, Mr. T then openly discussed being Christian on-air with millions of viewers. I ‘pity the fool’ who doesn’t love this memorable DWTS moment!

Mr. T Dances To Amazing Grace On DWTS

The iconic 80’s tough guy isn’t know for his dancing skills, but Mr. T put it all on the line to compete on “Dancing With The Stars”.

For the “Most Memorable Year” week, he chose a favorite Christian hymn in honor of the most challenging year of his life.

Many of you may not know that the “A-Team” actor was diagnosed with cancer in 1995. The beloved actor and bodybuilder relied on his faith in God to get through the ordeal.

The choice to dance to “Amazing Grace” reflects his strong Christian faith. And Mr. T wow-ed the crowd as he and partner Kym Johnson danced while a gospel choir sang.

It really is moving to see this Hollywood tough man dance to this traditional Christian hymn. Watch:

The crowd loved it, and gave him a standing ovation. But, he was eliminated from the show. It was worth the risk, however, as Mr. T shared his faith with so many people, likely inspiring others

Good Morning America

Later, Mr. T went on Good Morning America to discuss competing on “Dancing With The Stars”. While on the ABC morning show, the actor still didn’t shy away from talking about being a Christian as you can see in the tweeted video below.
