You never know what you will witness in the ocean. Anything goes in this food chain. Sometimes the hunted might surprise you. Even strong predators like a shark can be taken down with the right approach.
Photographers and divers witnessed something amazing firsthand. Off the coast of Costa Rica, they captured a pod of orcas hunting and capturing a tiger shark. The orcas savage the shark, eating it down to its bones.
It’s most likely the first video captured of orcas taking down a tiger shark. They clearly weren’t expecting to witness this. You can see the dramatic video below.
That was amazing how they trapped the shark at the top of the water. This is proof that the hunter can be hunted!
