Country singer Neal McCoy always seems to be upbeat. He’s got a positive attitude and is a proud American who says the Pledge of Allegiance every day. But, this weekend, he made a sad announcement to his fans on Facebook.
His father Hubert passed away on Saturday. McCoy told his fans about this because they had been praying for his father. In typical fashion, McCoy was focusing on the positive life his father lived and the fact that he is no longer in pain.
McCoy then did something he does every day: He said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Neal said he never saw his dad in a bad mood. The country star apparently inherited this trait from his beloved father. He’ll need that positive attitude as he now faces life without his beloved dad.
