Furry Friends Rockin Rescue

Dakota Access Pipeline protesters revealed their inner evil when they were removed from their camps by law enforcement last week. Not only did the protesters decide to burn their camps to the ground, but they abandoned their pets as well. They left two dogs and six puppies in the freezing cold to fend for themselves.

Fortunately, the folks at Furry Friends Rockin Rescue showed up to rescue the abandoned pets while officials and others cleaned up the disgusting mess the protesters left.

Furry Friends did say they believe there are more animals that were abandoned in the wreckage and they are having a difficult time catching them due to the heavy machinery being used to clean up the absolute garbage heap these filthy protesters left behind.

Julie Schirado described the situation, “It’s a mess down there, so it’s really, really hard to find these animals and get them.”

However, spokesman Tiffany Hardy is optimistic about finding homes for the abandoned dogs and puppies, “Extremely sad being these guys were left behind. But we offer, Furry Friends offers hope. I mean there’s so much hope within Furry Friends as far as these puppies finding homes.”

The below video gives you a look at what the protestors did to not only the land, but to these helpless puppies. Truly monstrous.

Furry Friends reports the two adult dogs had frost-bitten ears and patchy fur.

“We have a couple cases of mange, we might have had some, I know we’ve had some problems with claws that haven’t been clipped before,” says Hardy.

Schirado echoed Hardy’s original optimism about finding homes for these abandoned dogs, “If they stay with us, we help them find their fur-ever home. If somebody has left the dog behind and they’re looking for that dog, we hope they’ll contact us so we can help them find their dog.”

Let’s not sugarcoat the situation. Had Furry Friends not come, these dogs would have died in the harsh elements. It makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

I hope these dogs and pups are able to find new homes. I would be highly skeptical of returning the dogs to their owners. They have shown they are completely irresponsible by bringing them to the protest in the first place and then abandoning them to the weather. It’s just despicable and shows these people for the monsters they are truly are.

Share with your friends and family if you are DISGUSTED by the behavior of these pipeline protestors and their despicable acts!
