The Oscars tonight should be about celebrating film. Instead it is going to turn into a night to bash Trump and the millions that supported him.
There was a lot of hate, but there was something that was actually not horrible.
Host Jimmy Kimmel called for unity and discussion and to understand the other side:

I appreciate the gesture, but Kimmel went on to bash Trump and call him a racist. We do need more unity as a country. I suspect there won’t be any other people who echo Kimmel’s call for dialogue and understanding.
