Country legend Mel Tillis has had a rough year. The singer-songwriter landed in the hospital last January when he had colon surgery. He has been recovering in facilities in Nashville after getting sepsis from a diverticulitis flareup.
His daughter Pam announced on Facebook that Mel was finally well enough to go back home to Florida.
I’m sure he is more comfortable at home with his family. He sure has had a rough year. Hopefully 2017 brings him strength and comfort.
Tillis has a lot of fans praying for him. While he won’t be performing anytime soon, we always have his classic hits to listen to. You can hear “Good Woman Blues” in the video below.
