Country legend Loretta Lynn has just been given an incredible honor from the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame and she couldn’t be happier.

Lynn has been a pioneer and a trusted source for great music for over 50 years. I remember watching her on Hee Haw on Saturday nights when she made guest appearances.

The Nashville HOF has decided to celebrate Lynn’s career with a brand new exhibit to celebrate her numerous contributions to the country music industry. “The exhibit will highlight Lynn’s extraordinary career in every aspect, including the spotlighting of costumes, heirlooms, as well as personal material collected during her singing career. The exhibit will open on August 25 of this year and will run through June 2018.”

Her name is synonymous with country music, and she has to be one of the top five names you mention when talking about the greats!

Lynn expressed her excitement about this honor, “I am so happy the Country Music Hall of Fame has asked me to be one of their main exhibits in 2017… gonna show off my 50 some odd years in country music. They best have a big space… I have a lot of stuff!”

Lynn became a member of the Nashville HOF in 1988 and has won three Grammy Awards. That could change if she wins another one this year as she is a nominee.

Her life was made into a successful movie where Sissy Spacek played the beautiful singer in Coal Miner’s Daughter.

Enjoy one of her best songs:

I love country music and I know Loretta Lynn. I might not listen to it as much as I did growing up, but I love the stories the songs told, and Lynn was a master at that.

I congratulate Mrs. Loretta Lynn for her achievements and new announcement. What do you think of this amazing woman and the accolades? Share your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter timeline.
