A dash cam video caught a wild buck leaping into an SUV after she pulled off to the side of the road.
It’s unclear why the driver opened the door, but the buck charges straight for it, antlers first. The buck tries multiple times to get into the vehicle almost succeeding a number of times. Luckily the driver was smart on their feet and kicked the deer out of the car before it could any damage to the driver or the deer itself.
This is definitely something you don’t see every day.

I’m still completely baffled as to why the driver decided to open the door. It’s also extremely strange to see the buck’s fight instinct kick in instead of the usual flight.
Here’s to hoping the driver and the deer were A-ok.
