America lost one of its greatest icons and heroes today with the passing of John Glenn at 95. Both President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence remembered him.
Donald Trump noted how Mr. Glenn inspired generations of Americans and future explorers to reach beyond this world while praising him as a pioneer of aviation and space flight.

Mike Pence looked to John Glenn’s courage that not only lead him to become an Astronaut, but to be a statesman in Ohio as well.
