Many of us know Iconic Pop Singer Britney Spears through her music and acting roles, but may not be aware of the charities she supports to help raise awareness for cancer and other diseases.
For the most part, the media focuses on the bad things and things like this usually never get mentioned.
In late October, Spears hosted a Charity Ride with the proceeds going to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Spears has been trying to raise $1 million, and before the event, she had already raised a whopping $450K, selling tickets, T-shirts and making special appearances while in Las Vegas.

“Doing this charity ride with my friends at XCYCLE is a rewarding and fun way to raise money for Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, an amazing organization that supports children and their families in need,” Spears said in a statement.
The NCCF website explains, “Our goal is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children and their families living in our community. When a child is diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illness … they can look to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation for support, hope, and courage.”
