Willie Nelson could use your prayers. The legendary country singer canceled two concerts this week because of his health. The 83 year old announced that he would have to skip shows in Lubbock and Midland, Texas because of an undisclosed illness.
Nelson keeps a rather robust touring schedule, so it’s certain that he didn’t want to let his fans down so he must really not be feeling well.
He’s currently promoting his album, “For the Good Times: A Tribute to Ray Price,” which is dedicated to his close friend. He sang “Heartaches By the Number” from the album on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week. You can see that performance in the video below.
I hope Willie feels better soon. He could use our prayers and he certainly has mine. I might not agree with his politics, but I appreciate his music!
