Johnny Cash Sings “So Doggone Lonesome” Right Before Meeting One Special Lady

Johnny Cash’s legacy is unmatched. His music always brings back a flood of memories to his fans.

A lot of those memories start with Johnny’s debut at the Grand Ole Opry on July 7, 1956. He sang “So Doggone Lonesome.” The performance is classic Cash, but there is an even better story about that evening.

Johnny met June that very night. Twelve years later they got married. What a great night for country music!

He wasn’t Doggone Lonesome for long! What a great story.

Please share this if you are a Johnny Cash fan!
