Michael Savage was pulled from the air this afternoon. Savage is an ardent Trump supporter and has had Donald Trump on the show a number of times.
Savage claimed in a tweet that he was “sabotaged on air to destroy support for Trump.”
Savage is the host of the nationally syndicated “The Savage Nation.” He claims his number-one affiliate WABC-Radio NY cut him off air yesterday. Savage is the number one talk show host in the NY Tri-State Area, but was replaced by the “Curtis and Cooby Show.” Savage destroys that show in ratings.
Savage was still being syndicated elsewhere today and went on a rant against WABC saying he was given absolutely no warning about the removal and it came as huge surprise.
While going off on his rant against WABC today, Savage’s live show was replaced across the country with an older Savage show.
He was recently inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. His show is the number two nationally syndicated show with an audience of over 20 million listeners across 400 stations in the United States.
Savage is encouraging his fans to call WABC at 212-613-3800 to express their extreme outrage and disapproval at this obvious censorship.
