Rain and floods have devastated Louisiana over the past few days. Many people were trapped in their cars as the flood waters rushed in on them.
One such case was caught on camera, as a woman and her dog were trapped in their vehicle as flood waters rushed over it.
Fortunately, America and Louisiana are filled with self-sacrificing souls who will risk their own lives to help complete strangers! A couple of folks took to the flooded streets with their boat and not only rescued the woman, but her dog as well. Watch:
Even when he thought the dog was gone, he kept trying to save her and eventually did! That’s awesome! This goes to show the American spirit is still alive and well. People are willing to help those in need even if it’s a risk to themselves! This man is a hero.
