Chet Atkins and Les Paul teamed up on the album “Chester and Lester” in 1976. The guitar giants won a Grammy that year for Best Country Instrumental Performance.
Chet coaxed Les out of retirement to record the album, much of which was live in the studio with little overdubbing. It’s still a great album to listen to 40 years later.
