Calling for Serious Consequences After NFL Player Encourages THIS Against Police

Words have consequences. That’s the lesson one NFL player is learning this week.

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell proved that you don’t have to have a high IQ to play football when he posted an Instagram picture of a cop getting his throat slit. Crowell shared this picture in the aftermath of five police officers being killed and others injured by a Black Lives Matter sniper in Dallas.

There has been a lot of outrage in Cleveland regarding this. Many Cleveland Browns fans, police officers and decent citizens are calling on the Browns to dump this race baiter. Crowell is protected by police officers on a routine basis. These officers risk their lives for him and he thanked them by promoting violence against them.

Crowell has attempted to whitewash his mistake by apologizing, but the anger towards him in Cleveland is not going away. Cleveland Police are threatening to walk out of First Energy Stadium this season if the Browns don’t seriously reprimand Crowell. How would Crowell feel about not having any protection for himself or his teammates?

President of the Cleveland Patrolman’s Association Steve Loomis said that Crowell’s “store bought apology” isn’t cutting it.

“He needs to go to Dallas, help the families who lost their loved ones last week, write them a check, look them in the eyes and give a heartfelt apology.”
Loomis says Crowell’s post was as “offensive as putting a picture of historical African-American men being hung from a tree in the 60s.” He adds that if Crowell doesn’t go to Dallas and make a donation, “I will pull Cleveland officers, sheriffs, state troopers out of First Energy Stadium this season if he doesn’t make it right.”
As for Crowell admitting he was wrong and acted out of rage — Loomis says, “You’re a grown ass man, and you claim you were too emotional to know it was wrong? Think we’ll accept your apology? Kiss my ass.”
Crowell did meet with Cleveland’s police chief, but Loomis isn’t satisfied. He’s demanding the Browns and/or the NFL drop the hammer.

Isaiah Crowell is a disgrace and an embarrassment to any team whose uniform he wears. He has encouraged more murders against our police officers and no words are going to erase that. I don’t care if he posted this in the heat of the moment. Some children lost their dads when they went to work to protect protesters. And that’s what Crowell celebrated until he was caught.

Crowell’s comments disqualify him from even coaching peewee football. I wouldn’t want my son around such a man.
