Golden retriever puppy looking guilty from his punishment

If you’ve been a pet owner at any point in your life, you know that stains are a given. While those sorry puppy eyes are easy to melt over, the carpet is usually far less forgiving. Rather than getting out those expensive stain removing products and praying for the best, you can remedy the situation with two things you likely always keep on hand: dish soap and hydrogen peroxide.

All you need to do is mix equal parts dish soap and hydrogen peroxide and scrub the mixture into the stain with a scrubbing brush. Let it sit for 30 minutes and when time is up, press into it with a towel. When the spot is dried, run over the area with a vacuum to grab up any excess cleaner and voila! Stain destroyed!

Fret no more! Your carpets and couches will look as good as new!

Share this with pet owners — they’ll be thankful to know this trick!
