Budweiser is making an awesome American move this summer. The beer giant is changing the name of it’s beer beginning May 23rd through the November election as a way to remind Americans what is at stake this year.
The company will rename its beer “America” on its 12-ounce cans and bottles. The company wants us to realize we hold America in our hands. Budweiser has done some patriotic advertising in the past, but this really ups their game.
In addition to the name change, phrases from the “Star Spangled Banner” and “America the Beautiful” will appear on the labels also. This is bound to upset liberals who worry about offending people. But, they are probably drinking herbal tea not beer, so hopefully Budweiser will just ignore them.
Although Budweiser’s parent company AB InBev is technically no longer American-owned, the company has maintained its all-American image. This seems like the perfect summer beverage during these tumultuous times.
Please share this if you think this is a great name for a beer!
