A Teacher’s Beloved Cat Died So Her Students Did Something She’ll Never Forget

Tonya Andrews began to cry while teaching her high school Statistics class. She apologized to her students and explained that she was mourning her 16 year old cat named Blondie who had just died.

The students wanted to cheer up their beloved teacher, so four of the Texas high school students planned a little surprise that ended up being a gesture none of them will forget! They were initially going to bring flowers and cupcakes to let Andrews know they cared, but one of the girls had another idea.

She found a couple of homeless kittens and brought them to their teacher. While it’s a big risk to give someone a pet without asking first, Ms. Andrews’ reaction shows that she was very grateful to have two new babies.

What sweet students. They obviously were concerned with their teacher and wanted to help her out.
