When Donald Trump revealed this week that he would not be appearing at her debate on Thursday night, moderator Megyn Kelly did her best to play it cool. Backstage last night, however, Kelly showed just how bitter she really is against the Donald for costing her a major night in the spotlight.

According to Daily Mail, Kelly called Trump “Voldemort” off camera during the debate. This was revealed by Ted Cruz during an interview with the Fox host later in the night.

“Well, you know, you were joking just before we went on air that it was sort of like Voldermort, he who must not be named,” Cruz told Kelly, who didn’t deny that she’d said it. Instead, she simply smiled and asked if there had been a “pact” between the seven candidates onstage to not discuss Trump.

When she sat down with Cruz, Kelly wasted no time in bringing up Trump.

“Let’s address the elephant not in the room,” she told Cruz. “Donald Trump has chosen not to attend this evening’s presidential debate. What message do you think that sends to the voters of Iowa?”

The fact that Megyn Kelly is now comparing Trump to the embodiment of evil in the Harry Potter series shows just how far the feud between them has escalated. It also shows that Kelly realizes Trump cost her some serious ratings by not showing up, and she couldn’t be more bitter about it!
